FAQ

    Frequently Asked Questions

We know dealing with insurance claims can be confusing. Here are answers to the questions we hear most often.

What does a public adjuster do?
A public adjuster is a licensed insurance professional who works exclusively for you — the policyholder. Unlike the adjuster your insurance company assigns to your claim, we represent your interests. We inspect the damage, document every loss, prepare a detailed claim estimate, and negotiate with your insurance company to help you receive a fair settlement.
When should I call a public adjuster?
The sooner, the better. Ideally, contact us as soon as damage occurs — before or right after you file a claim. However, we can also help if your claim has already been filed, underpaid, or denied. The sooner we review your claim, the stronger the file we can build.
Do you work for me or the insurance company?
We work exclusively for you. We are not affiliated with any insurance company. Our sole obligation is to advocate for your best interests throughout the claims process.
What types of claims do you handle?
We handle all types of property damage claims, including storm and wind damage, hail damage, roof damage, water damage, fire and smoke damage, mold, and more. We work with both residential homeowners and commercial property owners across Ohio.
    How does your fee work?
We work on a contingency basis, meaning there is no upfront cost to you. Our fee is a percentage of the claim settlement we help you recover. If we don't help you receive a settlement, you don't pay us.
Can you help with an underpaid or denied claim?
Absolutely. If you believe your claim was underpaid or wrongly denied, we can review your policy, inspect the damage, and file a supplemental claim or reopen a denied claim on your behalf.
Do I need to hire a contractor first?
No. In fact, we recommend contacting us before committing to a contractor. We need to inspect and document the damage before repairs begin. Once your claim is settled, you're free to choose any licensed contractor you prefer.
How quickly can I get started?
We offer free consultations and can typically schedule an initial property inspection within 24-48 hours. For emergencies, we're available 8am–8pm, seven days a week. Contact us at (216) 206-7911.
Will using a public adjuster make my insurance company upset?
No. Public adjusters are licensed professionals recognized by insurance companies. Your policy gives you the right to hire representation, just as the insurance company hires their own adjuster.
    What areas do you serve?
We serve homeowners and commercial property owners throughout Ohio, with a focus on the greater Cleveland area including North Olmsted, Parma, Lakewood, Strongsville, Westlake, and surrounding communities.
